Well, I won't like to entertain any attack from you, biko but I think at this point, I need to comment by shedding light on three major points from your tweet:
The first is that in Yoruba language, we have 'h' which follows the letter 'gb'.
***THREAD*** https://twitter.com/ikeoluwaaaaaa/status/1273548570319302657
The second is that 'defect' is something which can be explain scientifically. It can be hereditary like in some cases of people who stammer and can also be caused by other factors.
The third is language interference. It is a condition whereby the native language of a speaker
interferes with his or her second language. Examples are: pronouncing 'hadjourn' instead of adjourn, 'hallow' instead of allow. 'ze' instead of the, 'zis' instead of this and lots more... It can occur grammatically, phonetically and even pragmatically.
In phonetic interference, the sound can be added like in the examples I gave above or replaced. Example is saying shief instead of chief /ts/. While grammatically, some Yorubas say 'they are calling you' (won pe e) because the person calling is an older than the messenger.
There are many more examples but this thread is getting too long for me. So, let's not get confused. Please follow me, I follow back.
