A few months ago, I did a thread on NASCAR-themed commercials from 2004. Let's do another one.

Here's a thread on NASCAR commercials from 2005, near the height of sponsor activation in NASCAR. >> https://twitter.com/nascarman_rr/status/1255469345767067649
A race track porta-potty can be a wonderful bathroom as Tony Stewart and Zippy find out in these Home Depot ads
You can take Tony Stewart dress shopping, to the spa, to the video store, and to the nursery with NASCAR checks from SunTrust
This pair of commercials show Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson fighting over a parking spot for Chevy -- and Jimmie and Chad going to Lowe's.
The Coca-Cola Racing Family drivers were anime characters in this cool 2005 commercial
"HE'S CHANGING (the location of) HIS NUMBER!"

Dale Jr found out NASCAR fans don't like numbers messed with in this ad for Budweiser. 6.7 Forever!
Dale Jr's Budweiser ads were always perfect. In this first ad, he races the Clydesdales. Then Dale walks through a 300 mph wind tunnel.
"Wow. This looks like a collector series hose, Michael."

Michael Waltrip and Dale Jr had some great commercials selling Napa parts.
"The Grand Poobah of NASCAR. The Generalissimo of NASCAR. El Presidente de NASCAR. King Daddy!"

Michael Waltrip and Dale Jr order pizza and decide who is the real Mr. NASCAR in this Domino's commercial
Kasey Kahne had some great commercials in 2005. This first Mountain Dew ad shows Kasey transforming. Then Kasey distracts some ladies parking in an Allstate spot.
Office Depot put the official small business of NASCAR on Carl Edwards' car in 2005 in this ad narrated by Allen Bestwick
We didn't realize how good we had it back when they sold NASCAR History-flavored Pringles
Darrell Waltrip's ads for Toyota Trucks saw him doing burnouts on the red carpet and drifting a city bus
Darrell Waltrip wanted to drive the Aaron's Dream Machine but it was Kenny Wallace who got behind the wheel in this first ad. Then DW rigged an election
他要开卡车

Dale Jarrett driving the UPS truck made worldwide news in this 2005 commercial. Special cameo from Ned Jarrett
Fedex began their sponsorship with the 11 car in 2005. Jason Leffler only drove the car for half a year, but got this nice slot car commercial
Stephen Colbert races Kevin Harvick in this ad for Mr. Goodwrench.

Then in the second spot, Harvick's crew is highlighted for its use of Duracell
Sunoco ads with Dale Jr's out of gas and Jimmie Johnson's hanging around the office
"Give the man some room, Ted."

This cool ad has a guy walking over Trucks to promote the close racing of the Truck Series
Greg Biffle and Doug Richert are caught in a police chase trying to bring home Subway sandwiches
This poignant Miller ad was a tribute to Rusty Wallace in his final season
Once again, the whole point of this was to show the cool commercials in that era. There weren't generic ads shown during races, but were specific to NASCAR made by brands who fully embraced their partnerships with teams.
