Dear #bronies: A couple days ago, @ImJoshDean described me as "perhaps this fandom's worst internet bully". I've been digesting his words.
Josh: You were right about me.
This is the full, unequivocal apology the #brony fandom deserves from me. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xnUgHjltbrp4L52rH3cudu4ftCWM4yN8S47agHDoV5k/edit?usp=sharing

I've apologised for many things before. But they've always been "small" apologies. I've apologised for one thing, or two things. But never for the overall pattern of bad behaviour I've displayed. Until now, I've never had a full reckoning with my longstanding history of abuse.
The above Google Doc is the full-throated, unequivocal, comprehensive apology that the fandom has long deserved from me. I have never questioned my goals; I want to help people. I want to punish evildoers.
But I must accept that I've repeatedly done evil myself, in that quest.

I ask please that my followers take the time to read this apology. I have spent my entire life (even back into childhood) being criticised for "bad behaviour". This pattern literally extends back into grade school. And I've never, not once, thought I was wrong.
I WAS wrong.
I WAS wrong.
I'd like to thank a remarkable friend for jostling my brain in such a way that I was able to come to this realisation. (You know who you are.)
I owe you.
I owe you.
