I've a confession to make, I've been struggling with the whole BLM movement and agenda, the close ties to ANTIFA, Marxists, Communists and generally anyone willing to be an anarchist. Don't think that I don't care about peoples lives I do. 1/10

I also care deeply about fighting racism, in all its forms. If we don't take that approach then we actually then become the racists we say we are opposing ourselves. I despair at the unjust situations faced by minorities, I despair at the racism I have been subjected to. 2/10

I see what could be a force for good being corrupted and made into a dogmatic approach that will only drive a wedge between all communities. I see far left activists cosying up to celebrities and whispering in their ear. @MaajidNawaz 3/10

I see these people sharing almost maniacal racist tweets and posts. You just have to look at @icecube as a prime example. Here is a very rich black man, who now sits outside of his community, espousing hatred to Jews through his posts. 4/10

You have @JenniferAnnistn and @jes_chastain sharing @LouisFarrakhan a well known and documented hate preacher of antisemitism. They believe their signals in support of BLM is important. It is to the anarchists with BLM. This gives them the veneer of respectability. 5/10

I can't say if they are truly aware of his "ministry" or his true agenda. But this worries me in that people are jumping onto a band wagon they do not truly understand nor comprehend. When an organisation such as BLM is seen with antisemites in the UK as well as in the US. 6/10

It does not bode well for Jewish communities. When you see people like @jackiew80333500 "the jews financed the slave ships" or Jim Curran https://camera-uk.org/2020/06/16/itv-news-retracts-report-on-anti-racist-jim-curran-after-antisemitism-revelations/ onboard with the BLM movement, you do have to question their organisational goals. 7/10

For me what is a further issue is the desire to abolish history, to hide all the "bad people" such as Rhodes, Coulson and Churchill to name a few. Not even the Romans hid a peoples history, in most cases they accepted it, even co-opting the locals religious practices. 8/10

If we hide it we can't openly review it. To understand how we became enlightened from the dark days. Reminders of "bad people" help keep us today and in the future aware of the madness that can descend onto a decent society. 9/10

The news has been full of the bad people, but not the good that challenged the status quo and achieved the important changes. I'm sure that some will take this thread and attempt to twist it to suit a warped agenda. Understand this, I'm supporting change, not revolution. 10/10
