#DifferentFuturesWales fascinating discussion already from the @WCVACymru webinar today on the Wellbeing Economy
#DifferentFuturesWales evidence of the voluntary sector innovating and maintaining focus on wellbeing for everyone. How will we ensure that vulnerable people are not left behind?
#DifferentFuturesWales Sometimes basic barriers can prevent people from engaging - are people IT literate, hearing issues, language barriers, we need to make sure these issues are not missed to keep supporting people well.
#DifferentFuturesWales What are the implications for the voluntary sector, businesses, Welsh Government, town & community councils? How can we work together? What can we do as support agencies and what can communities do for themselves?
#DifferentFuturesWales Exciting to hear about citizens assemblies, trusting people locally and creating the space and the freedom to act in the best interests of the community.
#DifferentFuturesWales The voluntary sector needs robust funding to cope with the anticipated increase in demand, scale up their success and support more people in need - worrying that this funding may not be in place when it is needed.
#DifferentFuturesWales Great question - should we scale up if the power of voluntary orgs is in being embedded in the local community - should we instead scale out, cascade knowledge, share learning, help others to do similar work in their own community?
#DifferentFuturesWales thanks so much to the team for facilitating this conversation, has been so interesting and thought provoking.
