And so when white women were being vile about Beyoncé gloriously and audaciously celebrating her pregnancy, even when they criticised Meghan Markle for *touching her own bump* (too confident) it came from a very deep cultural place

Breasfeeeding was seen as beastly and debasing and yet, they recognised that it kept babies healthy, and so, to literally *ensure the survival of white babies* they relied on black women to do that beastly and debasing work for them. The whole thing is grotesque

And THEN, you think about how enslaved black women were experimented on to essentially invent gynaecology (without anaesthesia, because black women were considered beasts who had a high tolerance for pain) in order to help white women.
