This is a thread on why you shouldn't trust your weighing scale entirely.
Bro was just a regular guy who wanted to lose weight. He approached me saying he tried programs with other coaches and he failed because the diet plan was too strict.
Firstly, i improved His relationship with food by giving him exactly what he wanted. Chocolates, alot of them.
Yes, he ate like almost 100g of Cadbury everyday with dirty food. Not only he got tired of his cravings, he started losing weight as well. Why did he lose weight?
Because his body was in starvation mode.
I gave him what he needed, the body utilised it.
Metabolism revived.
Once his relationship with food improved, I started with his deficit and he tummy got smaller.
However, the scale didn't show any results. Why?
Body recomp. When you burn fat and build Muscles at the same time , the scale won't show much. But of course,
You definitely feel better, move better, sleep better, confidence is better, your gut is better, life gets better.
This is why you shouldn't crash diet . Crash dieting doesn't only make you feel like shit, but it crashes your metabolism and makes you to enter a rebound phase
Where you actually gain more fat that you've lost during the crash diet.
