To take a cue from video game design, instead of punishing ppl for hateful thoughts, let& #39;s find ways to reward them for getting out of that hateful mindset.
No idea if a social system could be made for this. But we can give rewards ourselves by giving respect or thanks (thread)

But this also means before these ppl "convert" (flobt) we need to hold back punishment, a minimum level of respect must be given to them in arguments.
You could be more neutral in tone, refrain from name calling, attack points, not personality, EVEN IF THEY& #39;RE NOT RESPECTFUL

You do not overcome ignorance and hate by being ignorant of their humanity.
This cue from game design, is that good games (usually) don& #39;t actively punish or roadblock you for existing or for you doing something the game devs didn& #39;t intend for you.
They treat the player w/ respect and don& #39;t Game Over them w/ hostility for (apparently) no reason.

U can block ppl, *you have boundaries*, be sassy if u want, but be respectful, can u xplain what& #39;s wrong w/ their points, give a loading tip to help their next twitter combat encounter.
