i don’t like the show. it’s just bad. i wrote a list as i watched every episode on flaws!!
the plot was predictable, the characters had ZERO development. sure, victor figured out his sexuality but he didn’t have a character arch!

(2/6) mia never dealt with grief about her mom. andrew has no personality, he is the cliche mean jock who falls in love with a girl that will “change him”. but he doesn’t show much development anyway. lake somehow had a better character arch then all of the characters.

(3/6) the characters are unrealtable. most of the jokes aren’t that funny- and the writing is pretty awful. they don’t talk like highschoolers. and highschool REALLY isn’t like that! it’s the romanticized version that disney channel shows, but i thought we were over that by now.

(4/6) i dont see the chemistry. mia and victor, hard to watch. benji and victor, also hard to watch. i didn’t pay attention to felix and lake too much but i still think felix is too good for her. ANYWAY, the scenes seem so forced and i just don’t see any chemistry.

(5/6) yea, the acting is bad. but it’s not terrible. and i won’t be too harsh on it either, i could never act in general plus it must’ve been a new territory for some of those actors.

wait one more!! it’s unrealistic. spontaneously buying tickets, and not even giving 2 day notice. simon returned very fast and at a very convenient time. benji broke up with derek at light speed. episode 9 and 10 are just absolute messes. they tried to make conflict happen all-

in those two episodes. they also tried to set it up for a season two, and THERE WAS NO RESOLUTION OR ANYTHING. HOW HAS NO CHARACTER DEVELOPED IN 10 EPISODES. also the editing bothers me, and the wide shots make it seem like we aren’t actually apart of that setting. it takes away

from the scene in my opinion. my thoughts are all over the place sorry
