I really like Biko by Peter Gabriel, and The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead by XTC, and I guess you could argue that Pride (In the Name of Love) by U2 is in there, but none of them come anywhere close to this Jonestown kinda vibe.
Nelson Mandela by The Specials is about a specific leader, I guess, but
it’s not even in the same galaxy of creepiness.
Every other decent tune I can think of that’s expressly about one politician is overtly critical of them, and/or a protest song.
Am I missing any?

I dunno why I’m thinking about this this much, except that I think it’s funny that pretty much every song that exuberantly extols a politician
