The antifa & far-left occupiers outside @tedwheeler’s downtown Portland condo are now calling it an “autonomous zone.” Someone drew in chalk the demarcation line between the territory and the state of Oregon.

They have now built a barrier using cars, large wooden pallets, dumpsters, fencing and anything else they can find to fortify the Portland “autonomous zone.” They’re also shining lasers into the condo building where they say Ted Wheeler lives. There are no police.

Many occupiers outside Ted Wheeler’s condo came prepared with shields, helmets and gas masks. Some crew are walking around and trying to prevent people from filming. This is happening now around NW 10th and Glisan. #OccupyTed

Some people have named the space, “Patrick Kimmons autonomous zone.” Kimmons was an armed black man who was killed by Portland Police in 2018. After he shot two people, he ran at police with his revolver. #Antifa protested for weeks over the lawful killing.

There are arguments breaking out in the #OccupyTed zone. It looks like antifa are taking issue with some of the black people. Someone is brandishing a taser.

Some of the people in the zone are already beginning to tag buildings. Barricades have grown considerably in the short time they've been there. They're occupying an affluent area of downtown. As left-wing as the area is, I don't think the residents would support this long-term.
