conspiracy theory about 2020

this is a conspiracy theory so we have no evidence that this is true this thread may be triggering for some

according to a conspiracy theorist, the mayans believed that the world would end in 2012 but nothing actually happened in 2012

... because when we changed from the julian calendar to the gregorian calender we lost 8 years and some days

...so if we follow the julian calendar we are technically in 2012 the number of days lost in a year due to the shift into gregorian calendar is 11 days for 268 years using the gregorian calendar (1752-2020) times 11 days = 2,948 days. 2,948 days / 365 days (per year) = 8 years

... so many people believedthat the world would end on 21st june 2020 from the calculation show in the previous slide

... but scientists believe that this theory is just a hoax they said:

Science is elegant and beautiful but it requires an effort to understand this is a golden opportunity to educate people any person with a scientific temperament, not necessarily a scientist, cannot support these types of messages

so we cannot confirm that this theory is true, all we can do is wait and watch
