Do we really believe WIM when they say that 99% of their sponsored posts are unpaid? I& #39;ve gotten messages from marketing professionals who say they paid thousands (sometimes six figures) for a feature.
This is the most detailed account I& #39;ve gotten of what WIM writers are expected to do everyday--all for 18k a month.

At least one person has been removed from the WIM group chat after people started speaking up!
There& #39;s a common pattern here....
When in Manila is making a coffee table book--which I assume they& #39;re going to sell--using contributors& #39; photos & content. Without discussing compensation.
Obviously the idea of paying contributors was pitched but shot down.
If you can& #39;t afford to write for free, this is what happens:
