Terron Boone was fatally shot by LA County Sheriff’s deputies on Wednesday afternoon in Rosamond (Kern County.) Officials said deputies tried to pull his car over. They allege that he opened fire on the deputies and deputies returned fire.
A 7-year-old girl was in the car’s back seat when Boone was killed by deputies but was not injured in the gunfire, officials said. A woman who was driving the car was shot once in the chest and taken to a local hospital, where she was treated and released Wednesday night.
