In this collection, there are some songs that I take it as it is. For example, Jin’s Moon as Van Gogh’s moon in Starry Night,

Suga’s Shadow as the Cypress tree with shadow casting on it.

and J Hope’s Ego as a sunflower. // From what I interpret, Van Gogh usually drew wilted sunflowers signifying sadness masked by happiness. I think it goes well with both his personality and the song itself

For RM’s Persona, I choose the painting of the Yellow House, Van Gogh and Paul Gauguin’s studio. I chose this place because to Van Gogh, he faced a new environment which forced him to put on a certain persona as an artist.

I chose iris as Jimin’s Filter. The original painting is inspired by Japanese style. To a certain extent, it is filtered through Van Gogh’s imagination.

Almond Blossom is said to be a gift that Van Gogh gave to his nephew, which was named after him. In a sense, the almond blossom is like an inner child of him.

Lastly, Jungkook’s My Time as the sky in Starry Night. Van Gogh’s paintings depict a clear sense of changing climate. I want to compare this to time as it is forever changing and cannot be stopped.
