Part 1 - Reminder: LIU’s President Kim Cline had her Chief of Administration, Joe Schaefer, hire an Offensive and Defensive Coordinator without consulting Head Coach Collins.... and while the current coordinators were STILL ON STAFF.

Part 2 - When Schaefer called Collins and told him to fire the current coordinators, Coach Collins said “No.”

What did the administration expect? Did they expect their coach to have no backbone and blindly fire his guys that stuck with him as the program transitions to D1?

Part 3 - Why is the University’s Presidents Cabinet involving itself in Assistant Coach personnel decisions? You hire the Head Coach to make the X’s and O’s decisions and hire/fire the staff underneath him. Has Kim Cline or Joe Schaefer ever played or coached a down of football?

Part 4 - Good for Coach Collins for staying loyal to his guys and not bending over for the LIU President and her cronies. THAT IS TRUE LEADERSHIP. That is the kind of Coach & person any parent should want their kid to play for @LIUSharksFB @LIUAthletics @NYDNSports @nypostsports
