A lot of them are co-eds so not THAT young but yeah they’re gogo dancers and Instagram models. Not at all surprising but Venmo should be used more by investigative reporters bc it basically tells you someone’s entire contact list

It’s worth noting if you do go digging through Venmo accounts that being “friends” with someone doesn’t mean that money exchanged hands ever, it just means that you have each other in your contacts. So journalists may have politicians as friends because they did a phone interview
