y’all please buckle up i’ve got a WILD FUCKING STORY for you about my 3 yo niece and a cat statue!

we had to move my 65 yo dad into an assisted living place, which means my mom has to move into an apartment

as she was packing, my sister went over and took some items home...

she mentioned that there was a cat statue my niece — let’s call her Scorpio — found and fell in love with so they took it home.

my bro in law redid their backyard and my sister took pics and sent it to me and my mom

it looks awesome! but then the cT caught my attention...

when i zoomed in, i realized that it wasn’t just a lawn ornament.

THAT IS, IN FACT, THE CREMATED REMAINS OF MY GRANDPARENT’S OLD CAT. WHEN IT DIED, MY AUNT TURNED IT INTO A STATUE. AND NOW MY NIECE IS IN LOVE WITH IT.

MY MOM AND SISTER HAD NO IDEA.

NOW MY POOR SISTER IS LIKE “GREAT, SCORPIO IS IN LOVE WITH A DEAD CAT WE’VE GOT CHILLING IN THE GARDEN. NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT”

personally, i’m very happy that the dead cat got out of the garage and is living her best life outside in a garden with a little girl who loves her!!
