I would like to add “Freedom Dreams” by Robin D G Kelley and “Hamer and Hoe” by the same author to this list for a little razzle dazzle.
The list is literally called REQUIRED readings, yet y’all are saying you think the list was just a suggestion. This whole conversation started because of a nacker making a song about not reading, yet here y’all are, not reading.
My point here was that people need to read. Nobody should be asking people to read for them. It’s always great to engage others, but read for yourself first. Take notes. Sit with it. Go back to it. Don’t become a voice of anything without doing your research first.
