im so tired of people bringing up the superm Indian dance thing. i’m Indian and I’ve been trained in Indian classical dance(bharathanatyam) for 11 years so I think my opinion on this is a lot more valid than some white bitch trying to use this to defend their fav. +

i saw some indians say that they were offended but personally, I didn’t find it offensive at all. also, what they did was not an exclusive ‘Indian’ move. it’s found in a lot of traditional asian dances. plus, ten is a Buddhist+

so basically what I’m trying to say is that some of y’all need to educate yourself and listen to the people who actually know about this type of stuff before you go around using this type of stuff in order to defend you favs.

okay this thread is kind of resurfacing again so let me just clarify that I DO NOT SPEAK FOR ALL SOUTH ASAINS !!!! this was just my view on it and i do agree that it was mockery to some extent so they arent fully in the clear either
