Step 2 - Create Printify account

Printify is a print on demand service that allowed you to put a custom design on almost anything (shirts,hats,mugs, bags, portraits, etc)

They also are based in the US and offer fast shipping which is a huge plus

You are going to be selling personalized pet cartoon portraits.

Etsy is a gold mine when it comes to people looking for custom/personalized products.

Also people love their pets and there’s sellers already doing this so you can model your listing after theirs but better

Now you’re probably thinking okay I know I can sell portraits using Printful and they can place the design on the portrait for me but....

I don’t know how to design shit!!

I suck at creating designs too it’s okay.

What you’re going to do is go to http://Fiverr.com  which is where you can hire graphic designers to make each design for you.

Here I found you one that does dope work and it’s only $5/design

Your order process will look like this

1. Order comes in from Etsy/customer sends you pic of their pet

2. You go to Fiverr and pay your designer $5 to turn that pic of your customers pet into a cartoon style version .

3. Go to Printify , go to the portraits , upload design

You then will type in your customers information (name and address ) which Etsy will already have for you and then Printify will ship it to your customer within 7-10 days

Keep doing this and provide great customer service and you got yourself a side hustle with minimal effort.

This is just a quick business you can start up with less than $100 to your name .

Each portrait on Printify is around $12

The design will be $5 (even cheaper once you build a relationship with the designer)

So in total your costs will be

$17/custom pet portrait

On average sellers on Etsy are selling this for $35-$50+

Undercut everybody and sell for
$30 and offer free shipping

Sell 400 custom portraits a month and that’s an extra $2600/month profit in your pocket.
