A lot of older men gravitate to teenagers because they want someone on their level emotionally and intellectually. If a man tells you that you're mature for your age, he's a liar. He's emotionally and intellectually stunted for HIS age.

And your relationship will deteriorate as you get older and grow stronger and learn so, so much more. You will zoom past him in a couple of years or even mere months. Because he is capable of nothing but stagnation.

He will gaslight you to try to prevent it. You will worry that you bore him or that he wants someone who is younger because they are more beautiful. The truth is that he needs someone younger because he can no longer keep up with or control you. He knows you are better than him.
