Men will never understand what it feels like to be 16/17 and have an older man pursue you. Your brain is not even fully developed and you are easily manipulated into thinking that the attention you are receiving is appropriate. Stop blaming children for the behavior of adults
I was only 15 years old and i thought “being mature for my age” was a compliment. Now i realize it was a predatory line
the “men” i’m referring to in “men will never understand” are those who exhibit or defend behavior like this. cis women are of course not the only ones who are targeted underage
let me make this clear: i made a generalized statement but men are both perpetrators and victims. i was only speaking from my experience as a woman
