I’ll get a bit personal. I was abused as a teenager from my father. I have terrible stories. My dad beat me so bad one day the bruises were raised and purple all over my body. I ran away that night and went to the police. The police took pictures.

They asked for his number. What I didn’t know is that they were going to call him to pick me up. They didn’t even question him. He simply told them that I didn’t want to tale my BGCSE and that why I didn’t want to come home. And the same child he abused he was able to pick up.

This abuse topic hits so heavy for me. The police did nothing. My guidance counselor at school even knew and she did nothing. The secretary at school constantly knew I was being abused and did nothing! (They were family though).
