[THREAD]

Today is 17th June.

My aim is to get an affiliate sale within 7 days, that is by 24 June.

I am going to document everything I do every day here.

It is to keep myself accountable so I don't slack. 😌

Something I've done a lot of in the past. 😞 😞 😞
DAY 1:

Filled bio on Twitter, lets visitors know the feed is about.

Created header with PhotoShop and uploaded.

Tweeted some motivational tweets to get me going.

Started following people in my niche.

Engaged with their content by liking, replying and retweeting .

If the person replied to my reply I'd add another comment and get into a conversation.

Did lots of engagement.

DMed about 25 people in my niche.

Had 7 longer in depth conversation. And these are people to build relationships/network with.

[DAY 1 CONT...]

Reached out to bigger accounts (100s to 2000 followers)

Also to other people at the same level as myself.

Purchased DM Anatomy by @EarnWithMike_ on @gumroad (also opening an account).

DM Anatomy is something I will put into use in a day or so.

[DAY 1 CONT...]

Looked around Twitter to see what quality ebook products are available.

Sent DMs to 3 product creators ( @CMillerTalks, @HeroJourneyOn and @HokeHustles) to get added to their affiliate list.

[DAY 1 CONT...]

During the course of the day, I tweeted my own tweets, retweeted other people's tweets. Also liked and commented.

And generally building relationships with other like minded people.

End Of Day 1, just over 30 followers.
DAY 2

Went to home feed of Twitter and commented where I could add something useful.

Added a comment and if the person replied rather then just a ❀,

I add another comment try to chat with them and make connections.

Also you'd know if the person is on Twitter at that moment.
Commenting on a tweet from 5 hours ago means they are offline won't see it then.

Its a missed connection and that is not what we want.

I was also mindful to see how the tweet is posted.

If posed by software (Tweetdeck or Hypefury) means they are not around at that time.
With people I am already familiar with, it did not matter when the tweet was posted.

I just commented because they eventually will see it, and get back to me and there'll be engagement.

Did some DM conversation with people I know.

Chat about our lives or business matters.
If your gig is say Self growth other person is say Stocks and Shares its not same niche best to avoid.
Formed some connection with people from my niche then engage on their tweets they'll do the same.

Over time leads to strong relationships.

When people follow, only followed back if same niche.

Else home feed filled with unsuitable tweets.
I did not DM loads of new people.

A mistake. Should have done MORE.

One thing I did learn is the powerful-ness of tagging.

A question is asked and other people get tagged at the end.

For eg "I'd especially like to know @(addhandle), @(addhandle2), @(addhandle3) thinks?"
Those people will answer question and add more people to answer the question.

After one "tag tweet", I looked at Twitter Analytics, noticed it led to people visiting my profile.

Good idea to get people to come to profile so they may become your follower.
If they like your content they may also like your products.

Will have to do more of tagging tomorrow.

Going to need more followers so I can move to sell over DM.
