i also like how Xue Yang is being characterized from the jump as essentially impossible to keep

as soon as this big group of lorge bois captures Xue Yang, they look at each other and go “oh yeah there’s no way we’re gonna be able to keep this dude for long, he’s too wily for us”

i don’t even know how to discuss Xue Yang’s affect as the others are discussing the fact that they can EXECUTE HIM after they USE HIM to find something they want
