So, "Tory Fixer" Richard Patient, embroiled in the Jenrick scandal, is a friend of @dominicraab and runs Thorncliffe whose subsidiary "YourShout" ran the #HamptonCourtStation redevelopment consultation in Raab's constituency. Hmm.

The "Your Shout" #HamptonCourt consultation site even ran "news" that "local MP" @dominicraab wanted people to "be bold and brave, to build homes on Network Rail land and on sites within a kilometre or mile of train stations". What a happy coincidence.

And this is why this whole affair matters: Governments are vulnerable when it looks as though they are using their power to give unfair advantage to donors or supporters, or if there is the suggestion that access is for sale. https://www.instituteforgovernment.org.uk/blog/robert-jenrick-affair-has-potential-do-lasting-damage-government
Here's the Electoral Commission's record of Richard Patient's donations to the Tory party.

We now know from @Gabriel_Pogrund that Richard Patient was "in the room" when Richard Desmond lobbied @RobertJenrick. And here's Patient in the room (far left) when Jenrick spoke at @DominicRaab's constituency "Connect" business breakfast in 2018. https://bit.ly/2V5sL1F
According to the Electoral Commission register, the #EsherandWalton "Connect" business network have donated nearly £16k to @DominicRaab in the last two years. @MrHarryCole @campbellclaret @SteveReedMP
Raab's "Connect" business network are regularly "hosted" at Sandown Park racecourse. Shortly after Jenrick spoke there in late 2018, the consultation started on the housing development on Sandown's land - a decision on which Jenrick's now intervened.

This is now of more than a passing interest to #EsherandWalton

If the length of this thread is anything to go by, #Jenrick should have resigned by now. https://twitter.com/Gabriel_Pogrund/status/1276929205599637504?s=19
