If you're thinking that we're ultimately going to find out that Trump knew what the Russians, Israelis, and Saudis were up to on his behalf in 2016 *at the time it was happening*—and that *Flynn and Manafort* were two key links to it—some more evidence in that vein just dropped: https://twitter.com/ScottMStedman/status/1272973844643340288
1/ We already know the illegal Israeli operation run on Trump's behalf during the 2016 election (a) mirrored the Russian op, (b) was later confessed to by Joel Zamel, (c) was funded by the Saudis/Emiratis, (d) was known about by Don Jr. and Trump advisers Stone, Gates, and Nader.
2/ The recently released Stone search warrant apps, which may become part of the public Mueller Report—via a lawsuit brought by BuzzFeed—seem to indicate Flynn was involved in the Israeli op, which would be in every way consistent with his clandestine activities involving Israel.
3/ The question has been to what extent there was overlap between the Russian cyber campaign and the Israeli cyber campaign, and where the linkages are. We know the "grand bargain" (see PROOF OF CONSPIRACY) brought the Russians and Israelis together on the matter of Donald Trump.
4/ Trump Jr., Stone, Gates, Zamel, Flynn and Nader—and of course another Trump adviser, Erik Prince, and another Trump family member, Jared Kushner (and his Kremlin contact, Dimitri Simes)—are focal points for this question, along with Manafort and Netanyahu aide George Birnbaum.
5/ It had long been assumed that in the same way one of the main foreign criminals in the Trump-Russia-Ukraine scandal, Dmitry Firtash, had access to the Trumps through the cast of characters discussed in PROOF OF CORRUPTION, Deripaska's key access-points were Manafort and Gates.
6/ But of course it was always Michael Flynn who was explicitly traveling abroad to set up a "grand bargain" that involved both Russia and Israel, so it always made sense that Deripaska would have an access point more adjacent to the Israel piece than Manafort and Gates/Birnbaum.
7/ What Scott Stedman ( @ScottMStedman) has been working on for some time is trying to figure out the connections between Russian interference and Saudi- and Emirati-funded Israeli interference. This most recent investigative work brings the story that much closer to finding them.
8/ I don't often compliment Mueller—as I think his scope was too narrow and he left work undone—but I want to point out the legal status of the men I've mentioned in the thread so far to underscore that Mueller's criminal probe dovetailed with the ongoing counterintelligence one:
9/

STONE: CONVICTED
GATES: CONVICTED
MANAFORT: CONVICTED
FLYNN: CONVICTED
NADER: INDICTED
PRINCE: REFERRED BY CONGRESS FOR PROSECUTION

It's the foreign nationals and Trump family members who remain free of legal burdens—and many say Mueller made out a case on Jr. in his Report.
10/ Note too the list of men Trump has tampered with either prior to their conviction or post-conviction (in terms of promising a pardon). It seems to be the very same people. Gates slipped through the cracks after Trump's attempt to tamper with him through Manafort fell through.
11/ Trump is certain his sons won't turn on him, and thus far appears not to be concerned about the investigations into foreign nationals because their crimes were outside the scope of the Mueller criminal probe and he's taken over the intelligence community with his new nominee.
12/ So we've little difficulty understanding why Trump is obsessed with Stone, Flynn and Manafort—and why he likely thinks the odds of counterintelligence probes getting to him via Nader and Prince are far lower than ever before. But Deripaska remains under federal investigation.
13/ Indeed, there seems to be the most heat and light and ongoing room for law enforcement to maneuver with respect to Oleg Deripaska—which is why it's interesting that Deripaska's attorneys were unleashed on Scott Stedman when Deripaska realized what Stedman was investigating.
14/ Where I've come to with this: the truth will come to light, but it'll take time, as Trump is POTUS and therefore every attempt is being made from inside the administration to scuttle these investigations. Hopefully they're being secretly preserved for future administrations.
15/ The concern would be that evidence is being destroyed and decisions made by DOJ with respect to certain individuals that could unduly burden the legal options available to a future DOJ. But I still believe we are well on the way to the full story of what Trump did coming out.
