I've just been informed by Davis Police Department that my unpermitted park display of art in support of #BLM has received complaints. This is after I reported to them the vandalism of it by my neighbor. Although it will be removed under protest, I was cordial to the officers. :)
In essence the Davis Police Department just created a situation where they are simultaneously investigating the vandalism of my art, AND supporting and enabling the censorship and destructive aims of my old white vandal neighbor, who no doubt complained, and used them against me.
I documented on video the entire act of destruction they required me to perform on my own art, which deliberately included a Pentagram. All hail Satan.

CC #TheSatanicTemple
The art, in its present state of State-mandated Destruction.
I just broke the law by putting up a sign in my local park.
Of note, the art and posters remain in place in Central Park, and are not being removed, but somehow I am special.
Update: had a busy day. Talked to or left messages with a ACLU rep, a lawyer, two media outlets, the local The Satanic Temple, dozens of my neighbors, the #Davis Mayor's office, a local organizer for #BLM, many of my friends and family.

Upshot: feeling my rights were violated.
Takeaway: I have witnessed a silent minority use the police, the tools of State violence, to restore their pretty park, FREE of any ugly dissent.

Question: how many humans over 401+ years have been denied use, FREELY, of pretty parks, (or their lives, or privilege to make art.)
I would like to take time to recognize the 3 officers involved were stellar representatives of the Davis Police Department; individually I bear them each, as humans doing a difficult, dangerous and controversial job paid for by taxes and mandated by us, the State, no ill will.
It was a very cordial, relaxed and informative encounter on my driveway, we maintained social distances and no voices were raised or dissent immediately offered, because I have a deep-seated anxiety around armed authority figures. I'm not black, but autistic.
The level of profound chill I summoned was, in retrospect, remarkable. My self-control, and awareness that not all panic sufferers are able to survive escalation of symptoms around police, there being notable tragedies reported, put me in a mode Quinn called "weapons-grade calm."
So... grieving, disabled basketcase white artist has police ask him to destroy the #BlackLivesMatter art installation he erected in a park in honor and memorial of his dead partner, in another continuation of erasure of a black life, whose social media accounts also were #erased.
Yes, @harlequinnBell and http://Facebook.com/harlequinn.bell  have both been removed by a woman who took her phone after Quinn died, and has confessed on FB to destroying the accounts. She's a white woman named Shelby, who was a "friend". She took over after she died, forced me out. #vulture
Of note, Facebook initially Memorialized her page after it was first deleted in January, after I emailed FB with obit.

It was then re-deleted in May, and "Riley," Facebook's rep has not returned my emails, after he had initially promised me the Memoriam account was permanent.
And yes, any lawyers reading this, I have screenshots and photos and copies of everything. I do need an Ohio and California lawyer, DM me if pro bono work appeals to you, with an estate in the balance and several assaults, possibly attempted fraud, and disability discrimination?
I just gave a media interview. It felt good to break down and cry afterwards. #grief
Came home, to find myself trespassed upon and re-vandalized.
At this point, it is contingent on me to preserve my sanity for awhile, so offline completely until tomorrow. No screens, no phone, treating myself to nature. Bye until tomorrow.
In passing by Quinn's memorial, or what I left up, I gratefully saw the addition of #SayTheirNames to the tree. Thank you, kind neighbors.
I have heard from a thoughtful journalist who will be running a very well written piece about this event. I have read the draft and factually find no errors in their account or in my quotes. Thank you, Davis Enterprise, for maintaining quality journalism.
Part 2
Just came back from as bike ride. Somebody just removed all of the protest signs hanging on the bike crossing over Covell at the park. Including several I made. If you see THIS sign, it is stolen artwork, created by me, and was on loan to the city on a temporary ad-hoc display.
In the following days I will continue as I have been, adding to this thread, including video from the March. But for now, a photo of Sunflowers.
Of note, I had a fellow named Tim interview me about my use of a pentagram, and was interested in my personal beliefs, as well as the distinction between one that pointed up or down, asked if I was a "Satanist" and had apparently heard of The Satanic Temple.
I declined to discuss specific religious beliefs, as private, but indicated I was not into "evil", appreciated both a freedom to offend and the privilege to be able to speak out against systemic abuse, either racial or religious. It was a weird interview. Questions very telling.
I'm very interested in our levels of understanding on an abstract level, when I phrase a question, "How would you feel if the city sent three armed people to your door to politely ask you to knock over and remove a political and religious statement in memorial to your dead wife?"
Like this.

This is the first part of my #BLM videography of the Davis march for #BlackLivesMatter

Thank you Ms. Keene for listening, and to my neighbors who have been so supportive.
I received a message of personal support and an official "no comment" from a representative of The Satanic Temple. As I stated before, my activities are as an individual and not on behalf of TST, TSTS, or any organized group whatsoever. I am a Unicorn. I do support TST's message.
I replied that I understand the necessity of separation between their organization and individual activists, preferring to concentrate specifically on Church vs. State issues. As it should be. I do have a statement about my personal use of symbology: I'M HONORING QUINN'S BELIEFS.
I, too, can examine my own language and behavior for bias. I wish Government institutions that maintain systemic racism and oppress could do this as well. https://twitter.com/enuminous/status/1274057529694105600?s=19

About Law & Order:

I keep this with pride. It was my Grandfather's, Officer Harold Wright, who drove and guarded Governor Earl Warren. Hi, anyone who knows our family. Dad is retired from teaching now, and Mom is reading book after book on her Kindle.

I contacted a friend of mine, and this was his statement to the City and residents of #Davis.
I am curious as to the lack of comments on this thread. Has nobody anything to say about #erasure, #blacklivesmatter , #blackwomen, #paganrights, #freespeech, #policeoverreach, #fascism, #art, #society , #sacredspaces?
