Some observations: the word 刺し違える (sashi chigaeru) can be translated as "to die by each other's sword" so Sakura was intending to kill Sasuke and be killed by him in turn... What kind of star-crossed lovers trope...

Sasuke's comment "play at romance" 恋愛ごっこ is something you do TOGETHER. So it goes both ways, he is included in it. What's interesting to note is that Sasuke & Kakashi use two different words for "reason". Sasuke says 道理 (douri) and Kakashi says 理由 (riyuu).

道理 can mean "right" "justification" (related to "truth" and "justice"). 道理のある means "to be reasonable". So Sasuke's "reason" has a subtle implication of lacking a RIGHT for there to be love between them (because he DOES say that neither of them should love each other).

So Sasuke's line has the nuance of "It's not reasonable for me to love her or for her to love me." Kakashi's "reason" on the other hand just means reason lmao.

Notice again!!! Sasuke DOES NOT EVER say "I do not love Sakura." Really, he's saying it doesn't make SENSE for them to love each other, there SHOULD BE no reason. (and yet!!)

And when Kakashi says that Sakura's love for Sasuke is causing her pain because she wants to save him, nothing more, it's SELFLESS, he immediately thinks of his family. HE GETS IT. Her love for him is comparable to his love for his family.

BODY LANGUAGE. The way Sasuke can't face Sakura as she professes her love for him; the way his eyes are hidden when Sasuke internally relates her love to his love for his family; DIRECT CALLBACK to her confession in 181 and the way he couldn't face her. "dazzling" "radiant"

Sasuke has ALWAYS been deeply moved and affected by Sakura's feelings; he was NEVER aloof, he only pretended. It all meant something to him, to the point that when he's about to go try to kill Naruto he STILL can't look Sakura in the eye as she speaks of her love.

gd... Sakura means SO MUCH to Sasuke. Her love for him, he's always acknowledged it. THAT'S WHY SHE'S ANNOYING. Whatever plans for revenge that Sasuke had (on Itachi, on Konoha) Sakura was an interference because HER LOVE MEANT THAT MUCH TO HIM. Naruto WISHES he had that effect
