Thread. As we work towards getting #GenderWooWoo out of schools, because no child is born wrong, I think we should take a look at the NASUWT Teachers Union 'Trans Equality in Schools and Colleges (England)' written in 2017 by Debbie Hayton and still available on their website.
The arguments for self-Id begin on page 5, trans status should not be disclosed to parents p.6, the law is mis-represented to argue for self-ID p.7,
On p. 8 Hayton recommends that GIRES & Gendered Intelligence be brought into schools, that children be compelled to use preferred pronouns, that all previous history is eradicated from records. On p. 9 self-ID & removal of single-sex facilities, but birth sex for pensions!
On p.10 Hayton makes clear that a 3rd space is not acceptable, access to women's facilities on the basis of self-ID are what is desired. P. 11 briefly talks about child transition & recommends GIRES & Gendered Intelligence (women enjoy blowjobs etc, purple is GI)
On p.12 Hayton discusses the trans child & all other students loose their rights to single sex spaces on a case-by-case basis, p.13 more 'trans children',
On p.14 Hayton argues that dual role people should be accepted as the gender they currently present ass. It is sexist woo woo about men wanting to teach as men but attend parties as women. p.15 is all about GNC people which suggests everyone is conforms, just wants it.
On. p.16 Hayton's guide invokes intersex. Of course a trans guide would invoke intersex. It distinguishes between trans and intersex but still splices it into the guide.
In Hayton's schools and teachers guide the recommended resources are interesting: Gendered Intelligence and Mermaids.
From what I can see from the documents, Hayton has not asked for their name to be removed, or even a statement saying Hayton no longer agrees to be added. Putting one's name to something is an endorsement. It is still currently on the NASUWT website as a resource document.
Hayton refusing to answer similar questions in August 2018, despite the guidance bearing Hayton's name. https://twitter.com/leafylike/status/1272159864454873088?s=20
With regards the argument 'views change, that was 2017', Hayton's TES article 'Supporting transgender students: what you need to know' dated 10 May 2019 links to the 2017 NASUWT as a 'comprehensive document'. (I Used a pdf version).
So, for example, on 10 May 2019 Hayton was endorsing and linking to this dual role nonsense Hayton wrote in 2017 in TES magazine after Hayton had began speaking on women's platforms 15 March 2018.
