IMPORTANT THREAD ABOUT A SERIAL CYBER-STALKER & A HARRASSER:

i have written in the past about how i am a military veteran.

i rarely talk about it on the timeline because i have dedicated my life to anti-imperialism, intercommunalism, & black power.

also, the fact that i am a military veteran is not hidden nor has it ever beem, i have discussed it at length in the past.

every moment i spend talking about my past enlistment decenters folks in the global south who are directly affected by the brutal machinery of u.s. imperialism.

my platform is for uplifting *those* voices, not talking about how i joined the military because i was an ignorant teenager trying to pay for college.

however, it has come to my attention that an account with malicious intent, is implying that not only am i 1.] still in the air national guard [hereafter, i’ll call it ang], but i was 2.] deployed to the middle east, & 3.] i was deployed to charlotte uprising.

all untrue.

also, this person is spreading an old facebook message exchange between myself & someone named ian anderson [formerly @leavesanddust & @scarredoaks].

that facebook exchange is taken out of context.

the ang is *not* the same as active duty. it is *still* a wing of u.s. imperialism & no matter how much financial struggle my family underwent, i should have never joined.

period.

with the ang, you work 2 days out of every month, it’s a not a 9–5.

firstly, no, i am NOT still a member of the north carolina air national guard. in the state of north carolina, you must present your exit paperwork [dd-214/ngb-22] in order to have “veteran” stamped on your north carolina real id driver’s license.

as you can see, i presented the paperwork to the nc dmv & my veteran status is recognized by the state. you can ONLY get the designation once you’re *prior* service.

secondly, i was never deployed to the middle east. the main reason i picked the particular career field when i was younger was because i did not want my brains splattered all over the pavement.

i wanted a “lower-risk” career field with a lower chance of deployment.

even before developing a revolutionary consciousness more than halfway through my enlistment contract, i avoided any opportunity to deploy like the plague because i ONLY wanted to help my family financially, i wasn’t adventurous.

once again, THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION FOR ANYONE EVER JOINING THE U.S. MILITARY EVER, i am only giving y’all what my reasoning was at the time.

thirdly, i was *never* deployed to charlotte uprising. this person presented a news clip of the charlotte air national guard base being deployed to charlotte [145th airlift wing], but i was a member of the 235th air traffic control squadron of new london.

charlotte & new london are over an hour and a half away—if memory serves me correctly.

charlotte is in mecklenberg county & new london is in stanly county. the 145th is *over* the 235th but they’re different air bases.

i can understand how someone who does not know north carolina or anything about its air bases could get misdirected, but this was done intentionally to mislead people.

people who are deployed to put down domestic uprisings are typically in the security forces or military police, or even reconnaissance.

NOT airfield systems where one would work on air traffic controller equipment, such as radios & the like.

whether you’re in a revolutionary militia or an imperialist militia, you do not want the radio maintainers carrying the m-16s.

lastly, this person is sharing an old facebook message exchange between ian [ @leavesanddust or @scarredoaks] & myself.

in the exchange, i say how weird it was for me to be in the military while developing consciousness as a “leftist” [i rarely describe myself that way now].

now, it’s weird that this person got their hands on that old facebook message exchange because it happened YEARS AGO.

it happened years before i knew who ian [leavesanddust] really was as a person & years before i exposed them as a serial abuser within organizing spaces.

BUT this person takes that exchange that happened years ago from a known serial abuser to make it seem as if i was still in the air national guard.

it was very odd & a very psyop-like thing to do.

but if anyone reads my essay, the old facebook message exchange tracks perfectly with me saying i developed my revolutionary consciousness halfway through my contract.
