THREAD: My first epic bike ride through the Centennial Lake Link & Towpath Trails!!
What began as a fun afternoon ride turned into a 20 mile adventure downtown to the Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation.
Initial thought: Cleveland is damn lucky to have these trail networks. (1/7)

Looping through Irishtown Bend, I am reallyyyyy looking forward to the day this hillside is activated as the city’s premier new park and public space.
Seriously - this place will be transformative for the entire city. The views, the location, the sheer amount of space....(2/7)

Continuing along the Centennial Trail Lake Link, eventually I ended up in Tremont where the Towpath Trail connects. I love the gritty industrial vibe going through this portion of the trail. (3/7)
The next phase of the trail in Tremont is currently under construction but progressing along nicely. As so many others have expressed, I wish it would have been feasible to bury the utilities here, but the view of downtown is still spectacular. (4/7)
Continuing on, I love the attention to detail, placemaking and history along the trail. From cool signage to benches crafted from trail wheels (oh yeah, and more beautiful views), this trail is truly an immersive experience rather than just a place to get from A to B. (5/7)
Eventually I made it to the Ohio and Erie Canal Reservation!! A very scenic and shady ride ultimately led me to the visitor center and a picturesque boardwalk, which is where I decided to call it for the day and turn back around to head home. BUT the fun didn’t stop there! (6/7)
