I want to state my opinion on something. Maybe even ask all of you, What is a real man?

To me a real man is a man who will stay by your side no matter what and fight your demons with you. He won’t run away and hide or give up at the first sign of hard and rough times.

To me a real man will be patient and help you through those times. Give you advice when you need it and defend his woman without a doubt. He will handle whatever truth is thrown at him and take it in stride. He will own up to his mistakes whether he knows he’s done wrong or not

To me a real man, doesn’t cower and hide behind his woman. He stands with her at his side and fights against their demons together. They have each other’s back through everything. They don’t hide away and say “This is too much for me.” or “I’m sorry, but you can’t help me.”

To me instead, a man will ask his woman. “Will you help me baby or babe?” Or “I need your help my love.” Now I understand that there are some things that our partners can’t help us with, but we should never hide any of our sides from our lovers, wives, girlfriends.

To me, it’s about being grown enough to know that you’ve done wrong even if you don’t know what you’ve done. Saying “I’m sorry for what I did. I know I don’t know what it is, but I hope that with time I can. I’m sorry for it.” For apologizing and making things right.
