Another one of my favourites, the Red and White Giant Flying Squirrel.

This is just a thread of my favourite animals now LOL. This is the Giant Cloud Rat. Not much has been studied on them, but I hope more on them comes out in the following years considering the fact that I'm obsessed

The greater gliders. They come in so many colors and patterns you'd be hard pressed to find two thst look identical. They live in hollowed trees but as of recent have been the concerning end of many logging protests in Australia

While my favourite opossum will always be the Virginia opossum water possums are still pretty poggers. They have epic webbed feet and are the only living marsupial where both the male and female carry functional pouches. The only other who displayed this was the thylacine.

The Golden Lion Tamarin. They live in the hollows of trees but since humans suck actual ass, they're severely endangered from logging, but what else is new... They usually weigh just about a pound and are basically pocket monkeys. Imagine carrying around a POCKET MONKEY..

I DONT REMEMBER IF I TALKED ABOUT WOMBATS BUT ITS NOT ON THIS THREAD SOO... Wombats are funny bc they have pouches (being marsupials and whatnot) but they actually face the back to protect the babies from getting fucking BLASTED with rocks and dirt while the mother burrows. BONK
