Journalists & editors:

I know that stories about Churchill’s staute & Fawlty Towers & get lots of clicks, but there are some stories of huge national importance that are being overlooked.

STORY 1. Newly published SAGE minutes offer more evidence of govt #herdimmunity strategy👇 https://twitter.com/StefSimanowitz/status/1271526217548693511

An Oxford University study published in 1 June ranks the UK fourth from bottom in a global league of countries readiness for easing lockdown.

The study uses WHO criteria & the UK comes 191st out of 195, below South Sudan.

The league table (above) is the Oxford #COVID19 Govt Response Tracker & provides a cross-national overview of which countries meet 4 of WHO's 6 recommendations for relaxing physical distancing measures.

It provides for a rough comparison across nations. https://www.bsg.ox.ac.uk/research/publications/lockdown-rollback-checklist

This is a multitude of interlinking scandals - the care home scandal, the PPE scandal, the testing scandal, the app scandal, the media scandal, the contracts scandal, the Palantir/Faculty scandal etc. - which all make up the #HerdImmunityScandal. https://twitter.com/StefSimanowitz/status/1269782035499028482

The PM’s #GreenwichSpeech on 3 February is what @peterjukes calls “a smoking gun” of the #HerdImmunityScandal.

Peter sent me the tip off on 16 April & I posted this clip the same day.

It got 1m views in 36hrs but has been ignored by the media.

Decisions made in 5 March SAGE meeting don’t fully reflect the science set out in the minutes.

This was the first meeting #DominicCummings attended.

Were the behaviourists “nudging” past the science in order to push #HerdImmunity? #BREAKING

The UK eased lockdown this week despite not having met all of the 5 tests they had claimed were vital to be met.

But what about the 6 WHO tests for the easing lockdown?

Does England meet them?

I looked them up and on my calculation England would only pass about three.

"Shall I tell you a terrible truth?...You can probably make a good case for almost any course of action.”

This 8 minute interview with @borisjohnson from 2013, is chilling to watch in the midst of the #coronavirus crisis & #HerdImmunityScandal.
Note, when the subject moves to ethics, @BorisJohnson becomes more guarded.

When asked whether he believes one "can derive the ethics from the science" he avoids answering.

Perhaps he is aware that discussions of genetics & genomics can easily slip into the subject of eugenics.
STORY 8

Today the govt admitted the tracing-app might not be ready until winter.

This ties in with STORY 2 (UK one of the least ready countries in the world to lift lockdown) & STORY 6 (that we fail at least 3 of the WHO's tests for easing lockdown). https://twitter.com/StefSimanowitz/status/1273301607158099969
The similarities between England & the Netherlands are interesting.

Whilst Dutch PM Rutte began by being open about #Herdimmunity - the Education Secretary even talked about opening schools as a good way of fanning the infection - they are now denying it.
