•In this thread I’ll be explaining their relationship through the series and the huge development it has. All of this making them, when future comes, a very justified couple with a great backstory•
Let& #39;s start off with how their relationship was at the beginning of the series. At first glance, they couldn& #39;t tolerate each other. They looked annoyed whenever they interacted and had a very bad communication. Little Tsunderes with a strong personality after all...
But they never, NEVER hated each other. Yes, they fighted over the stupidest things, but It was just rivalry, a feeling of wanting to look superior. Hate was never involved,
It was quite the opposite.
Because beneath all that, they still had a special bond

How so? Them being childhood friends does have a impact in their relationship. Even though they didn’t get along very well, they still had this special bond that could be seen in different types of moments, and it gets much stronger as the series go on.
What makes this bond get stronger? a lot of things do, but it is mostly bc of them being in the same team, since they have to spend more time together, being able to respect and trust each other more. They started looking more into each other’s qualities rather than their defects
They started to support each other in everything, from daily problems they have to deal with, to their goals and dreams.
They are there for each other.
They are there for each other.
They want each other to success, to be happy. Plenty of moments of encouraging, protecting, trusting and caring proves us the deep and sincere value they mean to each other.
They developed trust and understanding. They listen to each other’s feelings and always try to bring positivity. They have matured, but of course, the essence of them (tsunderes, teasing) is never left behind.
Everything I said doesn’t necessary goes in a romantic sense, it means they got everything as a base relationship for romance to eventually happen. At the moment they are very close friends, though, it seems like Sarada has already started developing a slight crush on him.
Their relationship right now consists in mutual caring, respect, trust, support and a huge chemistry. They compliment each other perfectly, so hopefully, this two will develop mutual love interest later on the series. It would be natural, justified and very interesting to see.
We just have to wait and see what the story brings upon, They’ve made a increible job until now with their relationship, but they are still kids, they still have a long way to go. This is a shonen, romance isn’t the focus, but let’s hope the amount we will get is well done.
