+Could do no wrong so when she was scolding dev she was aware of the fact that it was true and she believed that this fact should have been accepted whole heartedly by sona. She fails to recognise that sona was less upset about Dev disregarding her efforts but more about+ #KRPKAB

+ the fact that Ishwari was the one who encouraged even made sure that dev tasted the halwa even after knowing that it was bad. This brings us to: Apko pata tha halwa acha nai hai bura bana hai toh apne dev ko kyu taste karne diya: at this point ishwari before taking the+ #KRPKAB

+halwa to dev Had tasted the same and was aware that dev would not like it but her insecurities, one-upping sona and even the fact that sona didnt listen to her instructions which she very specifically mentions is what make her not correct sona on her mistakes like+ #KRPKAB

+she would have if it had been either of her daughter's trying to cook but instead feed the same to dev where she once again makes sure it's loud and clearly mentioned to Sona that dev disliked the food. This was a stroke of satisfaction to her ego right there when dev+ #KRPKAB

+ says he knows it's not her cooking she feels pride in knowing that dev knows the difference between her mother's cooking and Sona's and to me it's more of metaphor in ishwari's head that her love is superior to Sona's this again being a boost to her maternal pride+ #KRPKAB

+which at this point looks like its turning into a binding in the face of affection. She is constantly competitive for Dev's attention towards her and towards sona. She infact knew that sona was young and trying for the first time and still couldn't help+ #KRPKAB

+but prove it to her that she was wrong. She is all supportive on the exterior but inside the fact that her son lies before confessing to her; that fact was just a seed has grow in to a small plant by now. She is aware of how she treats sona is wrong she continues her+ #KRPKAB

+path of wrong direction. Parental instincts calls for not accepting the fact that your child has grown up and is allowed to make choices that differ from yours. This parental instinct showed evidently in ishwari and while some parents cope through communication + #KRPKAB

+ ishwari coped through passive aggressive comments and showing her authority and possession over dev. On Sona's questioning about why she would feed dev something when she knew just what errors sona had made ishwari goes as far as saying+ #KRPKAB

+:Mujhe laga dev itna badal raha hai usse nayi nayi cheeze itni pasand aane lagi hai toh shayad halwa banane ka ye naya tareeka bhi usse pasand aa jaye: this was just her snide way of letting sona know that no matter how much dev prefers new SHE would not be able to. #KRPKAB

Sona at this point had dipped her expectations and rose coloured glasses of "everything's okay" and noticed ishwari's passive disapproval and constant rigidity to not let sona enter their family or her heart. Sona feels hurt since she however did treat ishwari as her own+ #KRPKAB

+ mom and was in disbelief that she would 'sabotage' a situation to prove a point in something as basic as food and show sona how she was not ideal as a wife for dev in ishwari's eyes. On being questioned by ishwari about her tears sona goes to show her hurt+ #KRPKAB

+without trying to poke ishwari back by saying: kadve tel ka jhauk aankho mei lagta hi hai: she still however is able to look beyond is still willing to please ishwari by saying she wants to learn to cook as well ishwari which is immediately misinterpreted by ishwari+

+ as it had become a second nature to ishwari at this point and jumping to conclusions like we see at end of the episode when she says: per mujhe aise lagg raha tha ki woh mujhe dhamki de rahi thi:. When Sona shares her concerns with dev by saying+ #KRPKAB

+ :Mujhe lagta woh sirf koshish kar rahi hai aapke liye mujhe pasand karne ki: Dev who was still bound by the love for his mother and wanted to desparately believe everything is okay jumped to defense and at a lack of better words manages to say Sona's ' ego ' + #KRPKAB

+ Got the better of her. Being unable to express herself and unable to be understood sona on returning home get her confidence and self assurance back from her feminist father who gives her the example her mom who choose when she wanted to quit work and cooked+ #KRPKAB +

+because she enjoyed it unlike the societal norms of learning to cook or do anything apart from your own choices for convention. He even told her that if she loves someone who loves her on convience or wants to change her then she is not in love with the right person+ #KRPKAB

+and should thus ask herself if she never asked Dev to learn anything for her or her family why should Dev or his family expect the same. Although Sona reassures her father about no such expectations from Dev she get her assurance back from Bijoy's encouragement and truth #KRPKAB

To take it further as a mess radha rani in this face was acting much like the third wheel woh only adds to the fire never tries to calm it down. She took out the lack respect given to her child and used it as motive to make sure Ishwari never got over+ #KRPKAB

+Her insecurities about Dev loving her less she even made sure to manipulate a situation to her benefit of pointing out to ishwari that Sona was unfit to be a part of their family. Whether it be the photo incident or making the halwa
#KRPKAB

When the photo does show up the expectations of each memeber involved in the dominoes of incidents is tied to its end result. Radha rani believes the photo in the frame will decide whether ishwari has considered sonakshi a part of the family or no #KRPKAB

Sona by now also hopes that even though she was not happy about the way photo day went by she did think for Dev and by her own happiness ishwari would indeed choose the picture with sona in it. #KRPKAB

Ishwari believes she made the right choice and says the reason is sona is not yet an "official" part of the family although it never did seem like ishwari wanted her to be a part of the family. She was very vocal about being unhappy that sona+ #KRPKAB

Was a part of the family moment, especially seeing as she had only know about this relationship for a bit and had yet not accepted sona SPECIFICALLY because she believe sona made her son lie to her and was in that way causing a crack in their relationship #KRPKAB

+ Which is gratefully pointed out by mami when dev in his rose coloured blindness says that he has accepted sona as his own from his heart and after ishwari's "ritiuals" the perfect picture with sona in it will be clicked again #KRPKAB

Radha rani points that dev has never back answered her and is persistently pointing at the change in Dev AFTER a relationship with sonakshi to dig the roots of disapproval deeper in ishwari's head who is willing to absorb anything here that gives her a chance + #KRPKAB

+ to not only disapprove but blame sona for the way her son is reacting to "basic" incidents with vigour when Dev might just be expressing his pure heartfelt thought all in good conscience. She believes that dev is trying to juggle between his family (mainly her) + #KRPKAB

And sona which according to her psyche will result in a disaster as he will loose focus. She ultimately is putting out options for Dev to choose what is more important to him and only choose one. This is classically a parent reaction+ #KRPKAB

+when they realize that the choices can turn decisions favourable to them by feeding it information that only make the one choice feel like THE ONLY LOGICAL CHOICE. Ishwari at this point was doing it to herself as well. #KRPKAB

When Sona tries to communicate with ishwari about wanting a part of the family ishwari's mindset is stagnant of believing that there is NO such choice give to her of accepting sona Because she was told and asked by Dev about their relationship #KRPKAB

Even when she compares their relationship to the 2 minute noodles she is symbolising on the fact that she was not audience to their relationship brewing and hence will always view it as a haste which ultimately means grabbing her son and going away from her faster #KRPKAB

She could also be focusing on how her relationship with Dev was long and well seasoned where as sona and Dev was new and rushed and thus she should be the one with expectations from everyone to be able to digest the rush like dev did #KRPKAB
