#IStandWithJKRowling bcoz women around the world didn't survive Sex selective Abortion, Infanticide, Dowry Deaths, FGM, Witch & Widow burnings & discrimination in nutritional & educational support to be told by well-meaning & privileged men & women that biological sex isn't real.

#IStandWithJKRowling bcoz using preferred pronouns for people with gender dysphoria is the polite thing to do which we are happy to oblige unless it is for legal, medical or scientific issues & with apropriate permission. Courtesy without Pandering. Win-win situation for all.

Also when it comes to children with gender dysphoria, there has to be open unbiased scientific debate. If you brand everyone questioning transitioning of a child as #TERF or #Transphobic it harms every one of us. #IStandWithJKRowling

#IStandWithJKRowling There are children with Autism misdiagnosed as Trans just as parents with "Munchausen by proxy" misjudged as "well-meaning". There has to be a scientific debate on this issue & we can all thank Rowling to have had the courage to open doors for the same.

#IStandWithJKRowling Those who have money will always be able to afford the best endocrinologists, psychiatrists, paediatricians & surgeons if their own family/friends happen to have dysphoria or wish to transition.

They don't get to call concerned parents as bigots for being sceptical or if they wish for a 2nd/3rd opinion for their child's welfare.

People point out Jo Rowling is a rich white woman. They should also mention that her husband is a doctor & she is the patron of research on Multiple Sclerosis. She may have done her own research and it is never wrong to do your own before coming to a conclusion.

End of thread for now. I may not have enough qualification or understanding & I admit that. However it seems that those most confident on the issue on twitter also happen to be just as informed as myself if not more. #NoDebate is not the solution.
