Today I found out about David Lesh via a Colorado-based outdoor enthusiast fb page due to his photo posted of himself standing on a log in the middle of #HangingLake, a delicate ecosystem with increasingly restricted access due to disrespect of visitors like David.

It’s important to know that the BIGGEST RULE is to not touch the water or the log.

Now in the whole scope of what is happening in our world right now, this probably isn’t the worst thing... however, I took one look at his Instagram profile and immediately spotted some HUGE issues and unfortunately the #HangingLake incident is not even the tip of the iceberg.

Here is where I should add a HUGE CW/TW for a multitude of topics... so CW/TW: racism, sexism, misogyny, cultural appropriation, guns, arson, xenophobia, crass language, mistreatment of animals, classism, potential fraud, vehicle crashes, & general toxic behavior.

I am putting this thread out there because this man has a pretty large following & also is the founder of a popular snow sport apparel brand: #Vertika. NO ONE should put money in this mans pocket under any circumstance. I combed through his insta so you don’t have to!

Another side note: I obscured the faces & usernames of anyone who is being mistreated by David (and innocent bystanders), however I did not blur the faces of him or his friends who are participants in his debauchery. All of this is up on his public Instagram, link in 1st tweet.
