Thinking today about #CancelSTEM and #CancelAcademia, I want to share a Harvard anti-thesis on racism. The PhD dissertation I never got to write.

The earlier version of this thread said I was the only Black student in my department at Harvard. This is untrue. There were others. My goal was to say I was the only Black student withdrawn from the program, but that’s no excuse for erasing the presence and experience of others.

I’ve taken the thread down because of this inaccurate information. If I do repost it will be after serious reconsideration and editing to make sure this erasure doesn’t happen and the presence of others is clear and significant.
