Debunking Christian Trinitarianism

🧵
Basically, before we debunk Trinity, we establish a clear premise from religious scriptures that it is false and exaggerated lies. The first of the Ten Commandments which all Christians and Jews believe is, “Thou shalt have no other gods before Me"(Exodus and Deuteronomy)
The above verse establishes a clear vindictation of monotheism in the Christian scriptures.
Allah ﷻ makes it clear in the Qur’ān with regard to trinity that it is utter falsehood. He said, “They have certainly disbelieved who say, " Allah is the third of three." (5:73)
The Qur’ān further says in various other contexts:
“And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. “(4:171)

“O Isa son of Maryam, did you say to mankind, "Take me and my mother to your selves as two gods, apart from Allah '?" (5:116)
The Qur’ānic verses further provide a rational argument which easily debunks Jesus and his mother being “God”. Allah said in verse 75, “They both used to eat food.” We infer from here that both' Jesus and his mother Mary were humans, as both acted like humans.
For if they were really divine, as the Christians believe, how can a divine being be in need of food, for food is consumed only for the reason of survival, and God almighty depends on nothing as he ﷻ is the uncaused existence!
Ibn Taymiyyah wrote his book , “Al-Jawab..” the most comprehensive anti-Christian work which is the longest and the most detailed of his time. Among all the polemical themes that Ibn Taymiyyah examined, We will focus only on the Trinity.
He examines the solid most argument to disprove trinity is that it focuses on “Tatlith”/tritheism, because the divine Godheads consist of three different divine entities, a contradiction to their own monotheistic believes.

Another scholar, Al Kindi refuted trinity by pointing out the irrationality of its premise. The critical argument of al-Kindī was that the hypostases create a composite (murakkab) entity. Whatever is composite is a result of causality and whatever is caused is no longer eternal.
Thus, the idea of a strict divine unity is vitiated as soon as these constituents within the Godhead are emphasized as the main characteristic of the Trinity. This vitiation this contradicts the monotheism of their own scriptures and the first commandment.
Imam Al Ghazali, another great scholar and philosopher of the Muslim world wrote the book, “Ar-Radd Al Jamil..” (An Excellent Refutation) to refute the erroneous Christian believes. The main arguments he poses are ,as follows: “Jesus’ miracles do not confirm his divinity;
the gospels provide evidence for the fact that Jesus was a messenger sent from God; passages in the fourth gospel that Christians propose as literal proof of the divinity of Jesus should be interpreted metaphorically; etc.

Infact, not just Muslim scholars have criticized trinity. Isaac Newton, the great intellectual of the 17th century, staunchly rejected trinity as a doctrine, infact to him, worshipping Christ as God was idolatry, to him the fundamental sin.

According to Dr. James Dunn, a PhD theologian Jesus wasn’t deemed a God by his desciples but, this came later on in church history, asserting true Christian monotheism. A number of Christian professors who actually studied theology assert the same.

Trinity is a pagan originated concept. Infact, according to a famous historian Marie Sinclair, “Nearly every nation of antiquity possessed a similar doctrine. St. Jerome testifies unequivocally, ‘All the ancient nations believed in the Trinity’.”

Dr. Samuel Japheth, a famous Christian historian mentions in his thesis that a lot of the early Christians completely rejected trinitarianism, like the early Ebonite Jewish Christians, the Old Testament Bible clearly rejects such a doctrine.

Ibn Al Qayyim, a disciple of Ibn Taymiyyah and a famous theologian refuted the erroneous Christian believes and wrote a poem filled with solid argumentation as his refutation, which is attached below.
