It’s always crazy to think how often you think about stuff that will never happen or alternatively, is certain to happen and how much easier it is for the negative side to occur. In life it is certain you will exist, that you grow up, and have a unique experience like no one else
but it is also certain that your family will die, and that one day you’ll have to face the music, and bury your own parents. This in no way is a positive thing, but it has to happen. Alternatively, we know that we will never land on the sun, or manage to drill through the earth
but what astounds me is the maybes, and the stuff that could happen, but which perspective of how likely changes with who you are. For example, a homeless child thinks owning a home to be a very difficult thing, and not likely to happen, while a rich one sees it as a certainty
Many people my age have had their first kiss, had significant others come and go, and for them these sort of things become normal, or become overlooked and become second nature, while to me I view it highly, even worried about it. Will it ever happen? Is it ok if it doesn’t?
Idk what this thread is, just sort of venting to the timeline I guess
