I nrmlly stay away from politics as it's not my domain and it's discussion brings in lot of negativity..but recently saw analysis by "Bhakt Banerjee" about Mr. Sonam's call to the world to boyctt Chinese apps and products..to call that video an analysis would be shame..

The video was full of lies,false equivalence to name a few.. I explain some of them below:

1. Mr Banerjee claims that Mr Sonam said that boycotting Chinese product will lead to regime change- No he didn't

2. Mr Banerjee asks why India don't do surgical strike on China like Pak

Maybe because China is a permanent member of security council thanks to... Also comparing China with Pak is like comparing aeroplane with punctured bike.. each situation demands different reaction one size fits all doesn't work in real world

3. Mr Banerjee claims kii App deletion won't affect China much ..maybe it won't ( it will though ;) ) but creating an alternative indian app will create jobs and business in India

4. Mr Banerjee claims that Sonam jee's request was to Indians and it doesn't matter how much we boycott nothing will happen this statement is false at 2 levels first Mr Sonam requested the whole world (check the title of his video) to boycott the chinese product not just Indians

At another level India is a major export market for China (comes in top 5) amounting to 75 billion of its export.. our share is gonna increase post corona cause the demand has fallen all around the world but Indians are still buying Raw material for medical products from China.

Another thing this currnt level of 75 billion dollar of export does not include the large amount of chinese goods smuggled into India via Nepal and Bangladesh...

5. Mr. Banerjee claims that this type of boycott will result in China boycotting $ 16 billion export from India.. first of all China can't simply pass legislation it can request it's citizens from unofficial channels to not buy indian products..

6. Mr. Banerjee claims that Make in India was a flop show However fails to present the fact that now India ranks 2nd in mobile mnfctring and also large scale import substitns are happening in dfnce sctr

7. Claims Mitron app is Pakistani but playstore says it's based out of blore

The business model of Mr. Banerjee and other famous foreign youtuber runs on the fact that no one calls them out on their propaganda thinking that it's waste of time.. but people are waking up..
