When I started at @BunkerTheatreUK I had a mental filofax of black artists that I had encountered, worked with, seen and wanted to work with and now that list has grown even more.
There's literally thousands of brilliant black artists and theatre professionals in london alone. I find that the excuse of "there is no (insert marginalised demographic) people for this theatre commission, role etc" is at best a fucking lie, at worst vile prejudice
So I wanted to make an offering. I have created a google spreadsheet for black artists and theatre professionals to put their name to. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1EnJIbaBBI97kmvwFPM_aefcajvunHGZErCgEEPPZJOU/edit?usp=sharing
1.Put your name in
2.Add your twitter name and if you have an agent and website.
3.Hit the click boxes to say what disciplines you have (you can do multiple, so many people have to hustle hard, so I know lots of people have become efficient in multiple things)

Im going to make sure its put in front of all the AD's in the industry, so there is no fucking excuse. No fucking chit chat about there ain't any black stage managers or sound designers etc. Here's the receipts.
My time at the bunker was a provocation to theatres that if we can do it, why cant you, like free sanitary products or free writers snugs or the programming in general TBH. This list should shame them even further, I want them to hold their head in shame for not engaging with you
This all comes with an important caveat. If black artists think that this is stupid, not helpful or problematic in anyway. I will listen and take it down and not continue with it. I want to help and the only way that I know how to do that properly, is to listen.
sidebar: If white artists think this is stupid or exclusionary or whatever they can go fuck theirselves and take a straw and suck their... anyway. This is about black artists and inequality. ya'll think you're there because of meritocracy anyway, so you'll be fine bruv.
I also haven't filled it in for people out of my "mental filofax", I felt that wasn't the right thing, so at the time of posting this, there are no names on it yet. I am a fucking idiot when it comes to google docs, so I hope that this works, but more importantly I hope it helps
Once again, the link is https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1EnJIbaBBI97kmvwFPM_aefcajvunHGZErCgEEPPZJOU/edit?usp=sharing
If you can't for whatever reason add your name etc, reply to this thread and I will add it for you.
