Been thinking a lot about building generational wealth. The businesses, multiple properties, stocks, life insurance.

Then it occured to me. It all starts small. Particularly for those that are the "first" in their family.

It all starts small and grows over time.
It starts with sitting your family down and being deliberate about discussing wealth and ways to get there. Explaining what you have learnt to everyone. ESPECIALLY THE KIDS.

It starts with channeling a child's sense of discovery and wonder towards saving, Investments etc EARLY.
It starts with that first investment account. The first stock that you bought on the @jastockex. That day that you took out your insurance. The day that you started contributing to your pension.

It started the day you opened your main savings account that you don't really touch.
It starts with looking for that starter house online. Saving that deposit, signing those papers. It starts with buying that queen bed set that you saved for from @somersfurnishin, the landscaping that you decided was your DIY.
It starts with those late nights you stayed up to finish your business plan, that 2 hours you spent getting your business registered, your first sale, that business IG page you started..
It starts with you deciding that you want more, you want to be better...NO, the BEST! It starts with that first semester in college, or better yet, that first term in high school. That first exam that you aced. That project that is due that you're procrastinating on.
It starts with that network of friends that you have around you. Are they also aiming to building generational wealth too?

It starts with that mentor that you have. It starts with making notes while watching @kalilahrey on Taking Stock.
It starts with the conversations/people that you entertain and the value that they add to your life and you theirs.
Generational wealth is GENERATIONAL. It may START with you and your ACTIONS but it doesn't/shouldn't end with you.
This property may have started with someone planting that 1 tree. He marked the area for a pool. His son built the house and dug the pool. His son finished it and filled the pool.

Each doing something that another doesn't have to do in the future. All contributing to 1 whole.
It's like a pyramid. Each person/generation building on what was already built. Fortifying what is already there and passing that on like a never ending relay.
