A brief history of the "Law & Order" president's tenure in office (so far):

- Paid $27 million in legal settlements for fraud and charity abuse

- Has a personal lawyer who went to jail for crimes that federal prosecutors said were committed at his direction

- Was impeached
- Has repeatedly criticized people running legitimate criminal probes, calling them corrupt

- Has called people who cooperate with law enforcement "rats" and said flipping should be illegal

- Praised people who refused to cooperate with law enforcement, saying they have "guts"
- criticized his own DOJ and Attorney General for bringing charges against his political allies (both of whom ultimately pled guilty)
- Has delegitimized courts and judges when he loses cases
- Has joked about criminal assault against members of the media
- His administration has blocked or refused to comply with dozens of House lawful requests for testimony and/or documents. https://forensicnews.net/2019/10/28/stonewalled-the-numbers-behind-the-trump-administrations-refusal-to-cooperate/
- has racked up more than 3,000 conflicts of interest by refusing to divest his businesses, which are used by special interests and foreign governments to curry favor with his administration, while enriching Trump personally
- signed hush money checks, months after entering the White House, to keep a porn star quiet about an alleged affair they had while his third wife nursed his fifth child
I guess I should have marked this as a thread and numbered all the examples.

Didn't realize how easy it would be to think of examples (which is terrifying in its own little way)
I appreciate folks flagging Trump's sexual assaults, his years of tax fraud, Nixon racial bias investigation, CP5, possible Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations, and decades of litigation, but this thread only applies to his time *since becoming POTUS.*

Gotta have limits.
