It is our duty to call out when we see it. The comments on hypocrisy in theatres standing by BLM when they do next to nothing to support Black creatives have been largely due to this thread from the Almeida. The Almeida is not alone in that, for sure, but, Almeida, for you to put this thread together when there has been no transparency on your woeful record, no recognition that you are part of the problem, and no commitment to change is a failure.

I say this because I want the Almeida to change, because us white people in the industry who can see this need to step up and speak up and not let the burden fall to our Black colleagues and friends. This is a defining moment. @AlmeidaTheatre please reflect on this.
