To the people who are complaining about tonight's episode of EastEnders, you worry me. How could you be so selfish and emotionally void to not be able to sympathise with someone with a disability?

How can you complain about the sound and subtitles when you voluntarily watched it for half an hour?

That's some deaf people's entire daily life. 24/7, never-ending.

The sound is supposed to be grating, it's supposed to be difficult to understand. That's the fucking point!

"How does it represent deaf people if we're just reading it all anyway?"

It's clearly shown as broken dialogue showing how Ben can lip read, but it's not a clear form of communication.
