especially as it pertains to EDS (such as the diagnostic criterion for at least 2 types of EDS being racist).

We ourselves, and no doubt many of our community, are right now feeling heartbroken, anxious and helpless about the protests currently occuring across the USA.

Most of us are unable to participate physically on the ground for various reasons, but there are many other ways to help.  This thread contains some of these, and we will also continue to post specific resources to help you to do so.

1. Act to help overcome censorship of social networking platforms by sharing pictures and videos (with faces of protestors either blurred or otherwise not shown/identifiable) between different platforms.

4/x
2. Share memes & quotes from protestors as well, esp when their faces or identifying features are shown & it's therefore dangerous to share the images themselves.

3. Share important crowd-sourced resources & real-time announcements within & between networking platforms.

5/x
4. Donate money and supplies to various groups and individuals in need (there are many google docs going around with these details, and we will RT some). Every little bit helps. If you cannot donate it is ok, but please RT and share these resources.

6/x
5. Provide logistical data, in detailed maps of stable structures such as roads, plants, fences, buildings, etc.

6. Make memes, chants & slogans to help push the best messages. If sharing those made by others, make sure to accurately credit.

7/x
7. If you live nearby to protests, you can volunteer to create signs for protesters, or even masks. You may also be able to volunteer as transportation.

8. Report racist tweets, comments and accounts on all social media platforms.

9. Amplify Black people's voices and stories. Do not talk over Black people. Do not ask them to educate you. Check in with your Black friends by asking what they need (not "how are you?" "Are you ok?" etc), but don't be surprised if they don't reply rn.

10. Most importantly, look after yourselves and each other 🖤
